This project builds on previous research into the glocalization of "traditional" Amazonian medicine. The research project will also be implemented in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to clarify the phenomenon of exotic tourism that penetrated Central Europe in the beginning of the new millennium. In order to achieve the stated goal, a questionnaire survey and recording, transcription and content analysis of min. 30 interviews with participants on such expeditions from the Czech Republic will be performed. The result will be a grounded theory on the explored glocal phenomenon that will contribute to its interpretation.
