Project description:
This project is focused on the research on retention of inpatients in therapeutic communities in the Czech Republic, Peru and Nicaragua. Retention is a key indicator of the rehabilitation program for drug addicts efficacy, because it allows to study changes in the patients' motivation and their ability to comply with the rules established by therapeutic staff. There is a student of master's program International Territorial Studies, Bc. Karolina Ticha, involved in the project and she significantly contribute to the research and data processing. The results are presented by project investigator at conferences and in scientific journals. The student shall develop a thesis in English.
