Summary:
The research proposal focuses on the analysis of cyclical fluctuations of European as well as world economies. Regarding broad research potential of the proposal, a variety of objectives might be taken into account: identification of factors and causes of cyclical development of economies in the short and long-run; business cycles dating – turning points and phases of the cycle identification and their spatial and time comparison; comparative analysis of contemporary methodological approaches to business cycle analysis and policy implications.
