Revealing similarities in source code is subject to intensive research. There are numerous tools available for similarity detection within particular language as well as across various programming languages. The tasks of a student will be: 1) To study relevant literature including metastudies 2) Design and create set of source codes to test performance of state-of-the-art tools 3) Run the tests 4) Evaluate the results 5) Evaluate current shortcomings and challenges in this area
