The aim of the thesis is to analyze the branch composition of the selected region (city, village, region) in terms of job creation and contribution to GDP of the region to the superior unit(state, region, EU). The main methods used will be the analysis of concentration and specialization (using localization coefficients and indices of specialization). The aim of the analysis is to express the influence of the branch structure on the current state and future development of the region and clarification of the disparities between regions from this point of view.
