The diploma thesis focuses on comparison of the factors that affect the environment of organic farming in the Czech Republic and United Kingdom, particularly the assessment of political, economic, social, technological and ecological environment. It compares the national and international environment, level of the environment through Porter's Diamond, propose strategies, industry analysis and situational analysis. Based on analysis development are strategies and recommendations set up for smaller farmers in the sector (farms size under 10 ha). Contrary, organic production is very popular and well developed in the UK with long history. UK market creates new services and organic products. Annual sales are 51,7 billion CZK in UK in compare to 1,6 billion CZK in the Czech Republic. Rapid growing trends on sales are observed in meat, mainly in poultry. Organic poultry meat increased sales by 6,6% in UK in 2011. In the Czech Republic, there was a rapid annual rate on change between years of 2010-2011 by 58% upwards on poultry farming meat.
