Title of the thesis:Prostitution in Thailand
Summary:The diploma thesis is focused on prostitution in Thailand, its history, origin and explains sex industry as a whole and its impact on children and women in Thailand. The theoretical part provides a basic overview, explanations and information related to the issues such as its roots and causes, child prostitution, legislation, sex tourism, gender variability, human and sex trafficking. In the analytical part we can find research analysis based on interviews with prostitutes in Pattaya, Thailand and foreigner expatriates living in Thailand Its followed by a verification of hypotheses used as base for this thesis. Hypotheses were focused on the roots and causes of prostitution, growing demand for prostitution and increasing migration of sex workers and lack of enforcement on prohibiting prostitution. Finally, the research is assessed and recommendations are proposed.
