Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
To learn the students to analyze physiological and mechanical parameters of tree stability at the stand, including special device supported methods,and to offer an adequate way of tree care.

Assessment methods:
Three 30 minutes tests during the period to get the credit. The one who has the credit can enter the exam.
Exam is oral and will be held in the field. For entering the credit and the project are demanded. The project contains three parts -- evaluation of 100 trees from specific locality, detail evaluation of ten trees (on the level of expert witness) and evaluation of chosen instrumented evaluation of one tree. The project defines 50 % of the mark.
The exam compounds from the project plea and practical exemplary evaluation of trees, where the student has to evaluate the vitality, the stability,the health status and give the precaution proposal for chosen trees. Important part of the evaluation will be also proposal of tree protection and description of needed legislative acts.
