Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
|This course focuses on relationship between public procurement and categories of agencies, how public procurement functions and is organized, how public procurement impacts and influences categories of agencies.
The aim of the course is to explain the public procurement in current conditions of public agencies and ccontemporary trends of public procurement. In this context, students will gain specialized knowledge of public procurement context and effects of activities for the public procurement. Course is focused on explaining the approaches to the public procurement relationships and ways to organize sources needed for effective public procurement.
Students are introduced to issues addressed by contemporary public procurement of public agencies. The aim is to introduce specific knowledge about public procurement. The knowledge gained in this subject will aid students in future studies within a variety of branches, and encourage the development of thinking about public procurement issues.
Learning activities and teaching methods:
Course credits conditional on a successful presentation and defense of a given case study. Credit is compulsory for final exam participation. Credit is based on case study. Maximum is 5 points for case study. For credit is necessary to have 3 points (60%).
The course is finished with written test. Maximum points for test is 40, minimum is 24 points (60%).
