Aims of the course:
The course aims at setting-up the theme of bachelor thesis in cooperation with the supervisor and to prepare the formal assignment of bachelor thesis for approval by the head of department and by dean. Lectures are focused to basic principles of thesis writing.
 
Course contents:
1.Bachelor thesis writing, consultations with supervisor, thesis topic preparation (allowance 0/0)
2.Recommended structure of thesis, scientific methodology (allowance 14/0)
3.Principles of typography and document layout (allowance 0/7)

Generic competences:
 
-ability to apply knowledge

Specific competences:
 
-Student is able structure correctly the wide-ranging scientific text
-Student is able to set up the aim and appropriate methodology of thesis
-Student knows the typographic rules and other principles of graphical layout of thesis
-Student obtains knowledge of the process of preparing the scientific text

Assessment methods:
Credit awarded by thesis supervisor. Student has to prepare the intent of the thesis including the aim specification, discuss it with the supervisor. After approval of official assignment and delivering part of the thesis the credit is awarded.
