Aims of the course:
The objective of the course is to provide comprehensive presentation of managerial economics, to deepen knowledge of students, respectively to extend it especially in the area of production and cost analysis, firm's objectives, demand analysis, analysis of market structures, business decision making in market structures, and environmetal aspects of entrepreneurship.

1.Introduction into managerial economics (allowance 1/0)
2.Industrial and market structure, optimization of firms size (allowance 2/2)
3.Operation costs and costs of supportive activities (allowance 2/2)
4.Business objectives (allowance 4/0)
5.Demand as a factor of business decision making (allowance 2/6)
6.Firm's behaviour in different market structures (allowance 4/2)
7.Price policy (allowance 2/4)
8.Decision making about promotion (allowance 2/2)
9.Long run decision making of firms, vertical integration, product differentiation (allowance 3/4)
10.Firm in capital and money markets (allowance 2/6)
11.Management of human resources (allowance 2/0)
12.Firm and environment (allowance 2/0)
Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:

-Ability to analyse market environment and decisive parameters and factors of behaviour of economic subjects and institutions
