Aims of the course:
The objective of the course is to introduce fundamental psychosocial background applicable in leading people and further, to develop various soft skills and competencies of an effective manager.
Course contents:
1.Basic terms of managerial psychology (allowance 8/8)
a.Social communication, negotiation training
b.Strategies for conflict solving
c.Personality typology for managers

2.Teams and teamwork (allowance 6/6)
a.Individual and group problem solving
b.Training of group problem solving (Nasa Game)

3.Basics of sales psychology (allowance 2/2)
a.10 laws of influence: sales psychology
b.Application of laws of influence

4.Assertiveness (allowance 4/4)
a.Developing assertiveness competencies

Traing assertiveness: methods and techniques
b.Laws of assertiveness
c.Developing assertiveness competencies
Laws of assertiveness
Traing assertiveness: methods and techniques

Assessment methods:
Exam, written assignment and presentation in groups.

The final exam is a 30 minute long written test (25 multiple-choice questions - a/b/c/d). Maximum is 50 point, minimum to pass is 27 points.

Students elaborate a written assignment on given topic and present their results on one of the seminars. Both assignment and presentation are evaluated by the tutor of the course.
