Aims of the course:
The course clarifies the role of international trade in the global economic order. Lectures are divided into several groups of topic. Particular blocks are aimed at the explanation of the origins of international trade, international trade theory and global institutional arrangements, trade policy tools of the modern state, or common trade policy of the European Union. Attention is also paid to basic banking foreign trade operations.

Assessment methods:
Fulfillment of conditions for credit (obligatory attendance in seminars, seminar paper submission and its presentation) individually or in seminar groups. Written and oral exam. For participation in oral exam, written exam must be fulfilled at least 60 %. Total grade results from both parts of the exam (written and oral).
