Aims of the course:
Developing mathematical methods which can be used for description of real word phenomena and modelling physical, biological and engineering problems.
Mastering mathematical tools required for application of mathematics in engineering and life sciences.

4.Numerical mathematics (allowance 5/5)
 
a.Taylor polynomial

Assessment methods:
Passing all regular tests is necessary prerequisity for the final exam at the end of the course. Both computation skills (25 pts., 50%) and theory understanding (25 pts, 50%) are tested. Passing is 20 pts (40%). The topics on the test follow the content of the lectures. Sample tests are available for course students.
