Assessment methods:
Course completion consists of a practical part (50% of the total evaluation) and the theoretical part (50% of the total evaluation). The practical part consists in the processing and the defence of the semestral project. The semestral project is focused on the evaluation of the forest road network technical condition and proposal of measures to their improvement. Practical work is processed in the GIS and delivered as a data file in written form in the range of about 20 pages including attachments. Defense of the project takes the form of PowerPoint presentations in front of the teacher and students who participate in the course. The teacher evaluates the presentation and accepts it if the given conditions are met. The theoretical part consists of a written test in the length of 60 minutes, when the student answers questions given from the required literature. There are given three questions. Each question is evaluated by 1-5 points. The maximum score is 15 points, minimum score to pass the test is 40%, i.e. 6 points, each question has to be evaluated at least by 2 points.
