Aims of the course:
The aim is to provide students with a degree of knowledge that equips them for practical work in planning, designing, construction and maintenance of rural roads.
Course contents:
1.The course consists of the following topics: (allowance 2/2)
a.Principles of a broad approach the optimal design and reconstruction of the transport network of tertiary roads in various natural and economic circumstances, particularly with regard to the protection and landscaping.
b.Modern technology and the specific construction and consolidation of tertiary roads, the main principles of their maintenances, repairs and renovations. Drainage facilities for rural roads.
c.Economic criteria for construction and maintenance of the network of tertiary roads.
d.External and internal communications aesthetic purpose in making the landscape.

Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:
-Ability to communicate with professionals in different field of study
-Ability to solve problems
-Ability to work independently
-Basic computing skills
-Skilled at utilizing and processing information

Specific competences:
-Ability to work with maps
-Advancement in spatial imagination
-Competence to design measures to improve the technical condition of rural roads.
-Increase the level of graphic expression
-Knowledge of the rural road network construction technology.
-Skills to analyze the current state of accessing the landscape.
-Skills to assess the technical condition of the rural road network.
