Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
To acquaint students with basic terminology, to remind and deepen knowledge about the structure and function of the human body, its organ systems, causes, symptoms, development, diagnostics, treatment and prevention of selected infectious, non-infectious diseases and the most common injuries in schools. Learning outcomes of the course unit To acquaint students with the importance of pre-medical first aid, practical training of first aid all the duties of a teacher related to it.

Assessment methods:
The course is completed by credit. Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes: The course-unit credit is awarded in written form (test) containing 25 questions in the extent of the course syllabus. There is a closed selection of several answers, one is always considered correct. Successful passing of credit requires at least 70% success rate. The topics for the test are public, respecting the content of compulsory literary titles. After fulfilling the requirements for the written part of the credit is followed by a short oral interview, in which the student solves a specific situation from the school environment in connection with the provision of pre-medical first aid and fulfillment of all obligations that arise for teachers.
