Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The objective of the course is explain economic justification of state ingerences, determine market failures, character of state interventions in industries with market power and in international trade, to determine taxes and public expenditures as a form of state intervention, to determine policies for support of competitiveness in the markets and government failures.

Assessment methods:
Condition for termination of the course is the successful presentation and defense of the analysis of the seminar work. The exam consists of written test.

Evaluation:

- written exam test max. 70 points (60 minutes, min. 40 points)
