Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The objective of the course is to provide comprehensive presentation of managerial economics, to deepen knowledge of students, respectively to extend it especially in the area of production and cost analysis, firm's objectives, demand analysis, analysis of market structures, business decision making in market structures, and environmetal aspects of entrepreneurship.

Introduction into managerial economics (allowance 1/0)

Operation costs and costs of supportive activities (allowance 2/2)

Demand as a factor of business decision making (allowance 2/6)

Assessment methods:
The course is completed by written examination where the students prove systematic knowledge of microeconomic issues in the scope of the syllabus of the course. Written test contents 3 open questions. Percentage score of at least 60% is required for a minimal pass performance for the course. If the percentage score of the written test is between 50 and 59,9 percent, students are allowed to undertake oral part of the exam.
First eligibility condition for participation at written examination is course credit. Students receive course credit based on a successful credit test (at least percentage score 50%) and at least 80% attendance at seminars. Credit test consists of 4 examples corresponding with the content of seminars.
At least 80% attendance at lectures is required as the second eligibility condition for participation at written examination.
