Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The course "Design in CAD" significantly improves the knowledge of students in the field of independent design work in mechanical engineering applications and directly follows the subject "Technical Drawing". It basically shifts knowledge of design principles, develops logical thinking even in the context of production technology, and focuses on aspects of software support for design in CAD systems. Students are driven to own creative work on the specific task (semester project) with the use of Solidworks CAD system.
