Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The course follows the teaching of the subject computing and applied statistics. The aim is to develop knowledge of basic statistical methods, to teach students the correct use of statistical software (Statistica) including correct interpretation of results. Furthermore, to get acquainted with the planning and evaluation of the experiment.

Assessment methods:
Credit-based processed essay (min. 60%) and successful continuous test (min. 40%) during exercise.
Written and oral exam. To pass the oral exam it is necessary to complete the written part to 60%. The overall assessment is based on both parts of the exam (written and oral)
