Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
Knowledge of trees and shrubs as living organisms, creating especially native forests or man-made outplantings, tree species important from the viewpoint of landscape planing. Identifying important tree species, according to morphological characters and rightly named their by the scientific nomenclature. Knowledge of using the trees.

Chorology, native renges of trees, migration

Vegetation zones (Boreal and central European forests, mediterranean, subtropical and tropical forests)

Altitudial vegetation belts
