Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
In this course, students will learn about principles of individual functional groups of special engines, motor vehicles and selected mobile machines. Attention is paid above all to general principles of operation of individual mechanism and their application in concrete types of special vehicles.
Course content:
1.Special engines. Two-stroke spark ignition and diesel engines, rotary valve engines (allowance 1/0)
Special caterpillar vehicles (allowance 0/1)
Mobile earthwork and building and construction machines (allowance 2/0)
Mobile manipulation machinery (allowance 0/1)
Municipal machinery (allowance 1/0)
Special agricultural vehicles (allowance 0/1)

Assessment methods:
Compulsory attendance at exercises. Processing and defense of the presentation on a given topic. Writing a final test at least 70%. Oral examination. Preparation of a presentation on an assigned topic: focusing on a select group of special machines in the range of 10 pages and its oral presentation defending the exercise. Participation in the excursion to selected production, sales or service business.
