Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
In this course, students will acquire basic knowledge about those technological processes in the field of casting, moulding and jointing, which are necessary when deciding about maintenance and repairs of machinery and/or application of renovation technologies.

Assessment methods:
Final credit, written and oral examination
For final credit is necessary 80% participation at seminars and participation in excursion in the manufacturing service. During the semester, students take two credit tests with a maximum score of 15 points each. The minimum score for credit is 20 points.
Examination: Presumption for sign in the exam is a final credit from this course. Examination is written and verbal. The written part includes 5 questions. Student must answer at least 75% each. The verbal part of the exam consists of two supplementary questions. The student must demonstrate min. knowledge of 80% of the information that was given in lectures and exercises.
