Aims of the course:
The course introduces students to the construction of various functional groups of motor vehicles. This is especially the chassis, steering systems, wheeled and tracked vehicles, brake system and the cabin ergonomics. Attention is also paid to the balance of power, losses and efficiency. Output orientation include the student's knowledge in the construction of individual functional groups and the ability to assess the functional characteristics of each type of vehicle, including the assessment of the economy of their operations.

Assessment methods:
Compulsory attendance at exercises. Hand over and defense of protocols assigned during the semester. Final written and oral examination, a total duration 50 min.Written examination, calculation of given examples. To meet the requirements min. 70 points out of 100. Overall rating, the sum of points from written and oral at least 65%.
