Aims of the course:
Explanation of dimension parameters of human body critical for furniture creation. Practical application in project.
Course contents:
1.Antropomorphic inspiration in furniture design (allowance 0/0)
a.Basic human dimension important for furniture creation
b.Proportional relationships
c.Measuring of own body as foundation of design

2.Antropomorphic inspiration - shape, frame, skeleton (allowance 0/0)
a.Concept of design

3.Antropomorphic inspiration - im print (allowance 0/0)
a.Material influence - continuous construction
b.Pressing on pedestal
c.Chair without back legs
d.Work on project

4.Seating furniture project on basement of own body measurement (allowance 0/0)

Assessment methods:
Handing in projects created in semestr. Content of project acording individual instructions.
Minimum participation in the exercise is 80%. Credit forms the basis of the two-part final works 60%, continuous assessment 40%
The course will end with an oral exam that will be asked two questions. The first question will be from the specifics of production space. The second question will concern the problem of furniture design. During the test, the student must demonstrate good orientation and overview of the field.
