Aims of the course:
Getting basic knowledge about the human body of bpdy construction and functions. Learning information about the influence of furniture on the spine of man, the influence of the interior on the musculoskeletal system. Familiarization with the influence of sitting and lying on the musculoskeletal system and the factors that restrict their influence. Learning to use the knowledge of orthopedics in the design practice, learn how to prevent injuries and illnesses in the production of furniture and prevent injuries and illnesses in creating of the interior. Learn to identify the basic flaws of furniture, which lead to back injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.

Assessment methods:
The course is successfully completed after completing 14 lectures, writing the midterm test and passing the oral exam. The oral exam consists of two questions. The first issue concerns the structure and function of the body and the second question is in the area of the ​​influence of the furnitu and of the interior on the motion system. Exam (3 credits )
