Aims of the course:
Students will familiarize with product quality and reliability assessment methods. They will gain basic information about repair operation control and production logistics. They will be able to take responsibility for machine and equipment serviceability ensurance by themselves or by using the service in particular company.
Course contents:
1.Product quality and reliability (allowance 1/0)
2.Determination of quality requirements, basic metrological methods. (allowance 1/0)
3.Stability and process capability, measurement system analysis. (allowance 1/0)
4.Classification of machine failures and damage of machine parts. (allowance 1/0)
5.Basic concepts in logistics, warehouse management. (allowance 1/0)
6.Trading with technology, Czech and international regulations in foreign trade. (allowance 1/0)
7.Design, organization and management of repair operations. (allowance 1/0)
8.Ensuring the serviceability of machinery and equipment. (allowance 1/0)
9.Technical maintenance, TPM application - total productive maintenance. (allowance 0/1)
10.Diagnostics of machines and individual machine groups. (allowance 0/1)
11.Machine parts renovation, major renovation methods. (allowance 0/2)
12.Maintenance and repair management. (allowance 0/1)
13.Technical inspections, just-in-time management. (allowance 0/1)
14.Main legal forms of business, ways of establishing a company, legislative requirements. (allowance 0/1)

Assessment methods:
Final credit, examination
For final credit is necessary to prepare seminar paper for exact topic.
Examination: Presumption for sign in the exam is a final credit from this course. Examination is written and verbal. The written part includes 5 questions. Student must answer at least 75% each. The verbal part of the exam consists of two supplementary questions. The student must demonstrate min. knowledge of 80% of the information that was given in lectures and exercises.
