Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The aim of this subject is to get basic knowledge in projection of service plant for motor vehicles and agricultural techniques. It is focused on planning, organization, operating and rational equipment of service plant according to the ecology and labour protection.
 
Course content:
1.
General View in Projection of Technological Process, Preparing and Phases of Technological Project. (allowance 2/1)
2.
Input analysis of market and customer requirements. (allowance 2/1)
3.
Determination of necessary technical documentation of repair and service operations, legislative requirements for service stations. (allowance 2/1)
4.
The basic equipment of the service station, the detailed characteristics of the machines. (allowance 2/1)
5.
Requirements for the operating environment in accordance with legislative requirements, waste management. (allowance 2/1)
6.
Location of machines and equipment, calculation of the need of machines and equipment, calculation of the need of workers. (allowance 2/1)
7.
Principles of ergonomics of service operations, safety and fire regulations. (allowance 2/1)
8.
Ecological and Economic View of the Designed Project Evaluation (allowance 2/1)
9.
Basic legal forms of business, their specifications and ways of establishing a company. (allowance 2/1)
10.Personnel occupation of the service station and necessary certification for professional tasks. (allowance 2/1)
11.
Analysis of selected processes, evaluation of profitability. (allowance 2/1)
12.
Modern approaches to marketing and service promotion opportunities. (allowance 2/1)
13.Application of Process Approach and Use of Management Methods with regard to Quality, Supply Quality Management. (allowance 2/1)
14.
Organization and methods of management of service centers from TOP management point of view with emphasis on customer satisfaction. (allowance 2/1)

Assessment methods:
Final credit, oral examination
Credit will be awarded based on min. 80% attendance at seminars and preparing and defending a technological project of service workplace according to specifications.
Presumption for sign in the exam is a final credit from this course. Verbal exam consists of 4 questions discussed in the lectures and exercises. The grade includes the project assessment.
