Aims of the course: |
To gain knowledge about the construction and motor chain saws (MS) and their differentiation, fuels and lubricants, maintenance, legal principles for using the MS tree felling, primary and special operating procedures for felling trees and working MS, OSH principles, hygiene and environmental environment. After completing the course, students should have sufficient knowledge for determining the correct workflow felling and processing trees and other uses of MS in different conditions. Knowledge and skills acquired in the course are a prerequisite for qualifying for the use of MS after the course can be approved for operating the MS for a vocational qualification examination held in accordance with legislative requirements. |

1. | Opening Session (allowance 0/2) | | a. | Basic introduction to the MP, MP classification, fields of application. | b. | List of major manufacturers. | c. | The legislative basis for the work MS. |
| 2. | Construction and maintenance of chainsaws (allowance 0/6) | | a. | Construction of the MS engine (engine, carburetor, ignition, starter gear, clutch, etc.). | b. | Construction of MP cutting (saw chain, guide bar, sprocket). | c. | Fuels and lubricants MS, ecological service (biodegradable lubricants). | d. | Maintenance Schedule MS, MS major maintenance operations, indications of faults and overcome them. Physiology of work with the MS, the principles of occupational health and safety and hygiene with MS. |
| 3. | The main ways to use chain saws and characteristics of workflow (allowance 0/5) | | a. | Facilities staff to work with MS and ways to use it. | b. | MS Principles of operation, the technique works with MS (felling, lopping, pruning, wood cuts). | c. | Working in normal and exceptional conditions (calamity, slopes near buildings, etc). | d. | Other possibilities of MS (care of trees, working in orchards, reconstruction of buildings, products for home and recreation, timber production chainsaw, etc.).. | e. | Legislation felling of trees in the landscape. |
| 4. | First aid for injuries incurred while working with MS (allowance 0/1) | 5. | Practical exercises in which students learn and practice the basic operations of maintenance work with MS to MS in various activities in different conditions.
