Aims of the course:
The main subject goal is to acquire and deepen knowledge of all general language competences (reading, writing, listening, speaking) at B1 level.

a.present simple x present continuous, prepositions of place, hotel problems, clothes

a.past simple, irregular verbs, holidays

4.Lesson 2B (allowance 0/0)
a.past continuous x past simple, prepositions at, in, on, revision of lessons 1,2

5.Lesson 3A (allowance 0/0)
a.expressing the future - going to (plans and predicions), airport, travelling by plane

6.Lesson 3B (allowance 0/0)
a.expressing the future with present simple, offers and suggestions, verb and preposition collocations

7.Lesson 3C (allowance 0/0)
a.relative clauses, paraphrasing unknown words, restaurant problems

8.Lesson 4A (allowance 0/0)
a.present perfect simple with its common expressions, housework, family relationships, collocations with make and do

a.present perfect simple and past simple, shopping

Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:

-Student can ask for and search detailed information in a foreign language and pass the information as well.

-The student masters intermediate vocabulary and phrases in a foreign language.

Assessment methods:
Students have to acquire knowledge of key grammatical structures and vocabulary of the basic reference book, at the extent given by the subject curriculum. At the end of the term students are given evaluation: credit awarded/no credit awarded.
