Aims of the course:
The main subject goal is to acquire and deepen knowledge of all general language competences (reading, writing, listening, speaking)on B1 level.
Course contents:

a.Revision of A1 grammar, gustar type verbs, verbs with reflexive pronouns; everyday activities, daily schedule, irregular verbs in the present tense
b.past simple, regular and irregular verbs, everyday activities, Spanish customs, revision of lesson 1

2.2 (allowance 0/0)
a.interrogative pronouns and adverbs, past simple, biographies
b.numerals, expressing date, vocabulary - geography, revision of lesson 2

3.3 (allowance 0/0)
a.verbs ser and estar, their use, present perfect tense, irregular verbs, family
b.Usage of present perfect and past simple tense, hay que, (no) se puede phrases, stress, personality and mood describing adjectives, revision of lesson 3

a.revision, conditional sentences, article
b.future simple, first conditional sentences, housing

5.5 (allowance 0/0)
a.personal pronouns - direct and indirect object, housing, revision of lesson 4
b.imperfect, means of transport, traveling, time/place idioms and phrases

a.Imperfect, comparative and superlative adjectives, absolute superlative, prepositions of place, giving directions, revision of lesson 5
b.revision, article, prepositions, past tenses

a.revision, indefinite pronouns, shopping, food
b."se" - passive circumlocution, recipes, food, at the restaurant, revision of lesson 6

a.imperative and prohibiting, holidays, traveling, adjectives
b.usage of verbs ser and estar, mood describing adjectives, subjunctive of regular verbs

a.subjunctive of verbs with differing stem vowel, subjunctive of irregular verbs, usage of subjunctive, optative sentences, revision of lesson 7
b.estaba + gerundium phrase and its use in contrast to the past simple tense, work and working relationships

a.past perfect tense, sequence of tenses, indirect questions, press, advertisements, revision of lesson 8
b.llevar + gerundium phrase, film and the film industry, free time

a.usage of the past simple tense in contrast to the present perfect tense, expressing opinions and evaluations, festivals and national holidays in the world, revision of lesson 9 a + verb phrase, future simple, revision of subjunctive, traveling

a.cuando a cuándo followed either by the indicative or by the subjunctive, relative clauses, revision of lesson 10

-The student masters intermediate vocabulary and phrases in a foreign language.

Assessment methods:
Students have to acquire knowledge of key grammatical structures and vocabulary of the basic reference book, at the extent given by the subject curriculum. At the end of the term students are given evaluation: credit awarded/no credit awarded.
