Aims of the course:
Gaining knowledge on the particle- and ffibre boards production.
Gaining knowledge about their physical properties.
Gaining knowledge of the agglomerated material finishes.
 
Course contents:
1.Raw materials for agglomerated materials manufacturing (allowance 4/4)
 
a.Wood and other lignocelllulose raw materials
b.Chemical additives

2.Technology of particleboards production (allowance 9/9)
 
a.Wood desintegration - chips- and particles manufacturing
b.Drying and screening of particles
c.Preparation and gluing compound dosing
d.Pressing of particleboards

3.Technology of fibreboards production (allowance 9/9)
 
a.Wood and other lignocelllulose raw materials
b.Wood fibres manufacturing
c.Forming of fibres mat at dry- and wet manufacturing process
d.Pressing of fibreboards
e.Medium- and high density fibreboards (MDF and HDF)
f.Cutting and application of MDF and HDF

4.Finishing cut of fibreboards, surface finishing (allowance 2/2)
5.Properties of particle- and fibreboards, their application (allowance 2/2)
