Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The course focuses on the basic knowledge of joinery production. Follows the course STR - joinery products in the field of bachelor Woodworking.
 
Course content:
1.
Aperture fillings in architecture - the influence of the shape and distribution of windows on the overall look of the house. Examples of architectural design of buildings with emphasis on the appropriate construction otovrových filling. (allowance 2/2)
2.
Combined windows - Wood, wood-plastic, wood-plastic-aluminum windows in passive and neutral buildings. Technical requirements for these products. (allowance 2/2)
3.
Glazed facades - wood, wood-aluminum. Design and technical requirements for these products. (allowance 2/2)
4.
Conservatories - wooden, plastic, wood-aluminum, aluminum. Design and technical requirements for these products. (allowance 2/2)
5.
The facades of wood and wood-based materials - materials, construction, technical requirements for these products. (allowance 2/2)
6.Wooden structures on the exterior - fences, pergolas, terraces, balconies, etc.. Materials, construction and technical requirements for the design. (allowance 2/2)
7.
Street furniture and wooden objects outdoors - materials, design and technical requirements for these products. (allowance 2/2)
8.
The use of modified wood in the construction of building joinery products. (allowance 2/2)
9.
Surface systems for exterior wood, properties, and methods of paint application. (allowance 2/2)
10.
Floors made of wood and wood-based panels - new design solutions, underfloor heating and its problems. (allowance 2/2)
11.Thermal insulation and acoustic wall cladding - materials, construction, technical requirements for these products. (allowance 2/2)
12.
Wooden stairs - solution design, technology, production and installation in buildings, structures linked to the construction of stairs (allowance 2/2)
13.Software for the design of construction joinery and its use in practice. (allowance 4/4)
