Aims of the course:
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills of processing of wood and composite materials by NC and CNC machines. Basic principles of preparing of production on the NC machines. Knowledge of an occupational safety. Become acquainted with a machine TECH99 and the knowledge its operating and maintenance. Elaboration students projects and manufacturing of a particular product.

1.Introduction to the NC and CNC machines (allowance 4/0)

b.Trends in implementing to the production
c.Requirements on producing machinery
d.Positives and negatives of the CNC machines

2.Categorization and components of the NC and CNC machines (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Basic categorization of the NC and CNC centres
b.Basic components of the machine centre and their configuration according movement basic construction elements

3.Tools for wood milling (allowance 2/2)
 
a.Categorization of the tools
b.The tools suitable for milling on the CNC and NC machines
c.Use of the tools
d.Tools maintenance
e.Definition of the tools for the CNC machines

4.Cutting materials for wood milling (allowance 4/1)
 
a.Cutting tools and its influence on durability of a blade
b.Overview and characterization of detail types of the cutting materials
c.History and progress of the cutting materials
d.Basic mechanical properties of detail types and areas of use
e.Economic of choice of the cutting tools according types of a cutting steel and the working materials -- SP, HL, HSS, HW, HC, PKD, CVD

5.Safety and health protection at work (allowance 0/3)
 
a.Safety at work on woodworking machineries
b.Internal occupational safety rules in a Technological pavilion by work at the machine TECH99

6.Basic working operations on the CNC machines (allowance 2/4)
 
a.CAD and export DXF
b.CAD/CAM/Post processing -- software Task
c.Fundamental principles of creating G-code

7.Practical work on the CNC machine TECH99 (allowance 0/14)
 
a.Appurtenance of preparation of working
b.Programming in operating system Kvara 3.0 for TECH99
c.Programming of machining by system CAD/CAM
d.Familiarization with the program Task (program for simplified programming CNC and NC machine)
