Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The course is focused on basic questions and problems connected with existence, working and financing of the public sector in conditions of mixed economics. Strong impact is put on understanding of reasons for the state interventions and the ability to analyze their impacts, no matter if they are in form of regulation or planning. Significant part of the course content is formed by problem of public choice and public sector financing.
Learning activities and teaching methods:
|Credit (yes/no): min. 8 tests over 60%.|
Final evaluation (max. 100 points):
30 points tests - 6 best tests (0 to 5 points per test).
70 points oral exam - students draw two questions from pre-prepared questions.
Then the student answers the questions independently. Examiners ask supplementary questions.
Minimum for passing is 60 points.
