Aims of the course:
The main goal of this subject deals with friction, wear a lubrication. Another part of subject if tribo-technology and tribo-diagnostics. The most important is study about lubricants a fuel in part. Student can apply the knowledge in the implementation and evaluation of tribo-diagnostic analyses.
Course contents:
1.Introduction to tribology studies, safety of work with lubricants (allowance 2/1)
2.Friction and wear, surface treatment (allowance 2/1)
3.Lubrication, lubricity (allowance 2/1)
4.Application of lubricants, lubrication systems and circuits (allowance 2/0)
5.Distribution of lubricants, solid lubricants, plastic lubricants (allowance 2/0)
6.Oils distribution, production and composition of oils (allowance 2/0)
7.Production and post-production additives, performance and viscosity classes of oils (allowance 2/0)
8.Oil degradation, biodegradable oils, oil filtration (allowance 2/1)
9.Methods of oil analysis, tribodiagnostics (allowance 2/1)
10.Dynamic and kinematic viscosity, density, shear stress, temperature dependence (allowance 2/1)
11.Handling with hazardous waste (allowance 2/0)
12.Practical measurement of selected indicators and protocol processing (allowance 2/6)
13.Excursion to the selected company (allowance 2/1)
14.Excursion to the selected company (allowance 2/1)
