Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
Introduction to the current state of knowledge and the consequences of making transgenic mammals construction and cloning for students interested in this specialized area of biotechnology.
 
Course content:
1.The importance of transgenic mammals (growth, resistance, quality, biofermenters, xenotransplantation, etc.) (allowance 2/0)

Recombinant DNA technology (allowance 2/0)

Gene constructs (expression vectors) (allowance 2/0)
4.Creation of genetically modified stem cells (gene therapy) (allowance 2/0)

Creation of genetically modified germinal cells (germinal transgenesis) (allowance 2/0)

Methods of gene transfer (allowance 2/0)
7.
Examples of transgenic animals: model organisms and farm animals (allowance 4/0)
