Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The aim of the course is to give students a basic knowledge about utilization of zootechnic terminology and welfare of animals. Graduates of the course are able to characterize and differentiate the different breeds of livestock, get knowledge about technology and farming techniques, and evaluate use property of farm animal.
 
Course content:
1.
Basic terminology, general Zootechnics (allowance 2/2)
2.
Fertility of animals, basics of reproduction of farm animals (allowance 2/2)
3.
Breeding of species (cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, horses
    and poultry)

For Credit you have to receive minimal 80 % participation on exercising, correct writing test during exercising (min. 60 % points).
