Aims of the course:
The goal of the subject is to develop students' language skills and knowledge focusing on the area of information technology. Students will acquire and deepen their knowledge of advanced grammatical structures, key specialist vocabulary and become familiar with various specialist texts.

Assessment methods:
In the continuous assessment students have to gain a minimum of 60 points out of a maximum of 100 points to be awarded credit. In the 5th and 10th week of the term students take a test that has 20 questions. Each test makes a maximum of 20% of the total marks. Students can gain a maximum of 20 points per each test. In the last week of the term students take a final credit test consisting of 60 questions in an electronic form. The test makes a maximum of 60% of the total marks. Students can gain up to 60 points at most. The seminar attendance is compulsory. Absent students must carry out an assigned specialist writing task on a given topic.
