Aims of the course:
The aim of this course is to offer the basic theroetical knowledge and practical skills from management aimed to modern managerial techniques and managers skills. The scope of seminars is practical training of chosen managerial skills, study case presentation with the use of interactive teaching methods and modern didactician techniques.The practical application of acquired skills is the organization of a charity market - Dobrotrh (dobrotrh.mendelu.cz), where students verify their managerial, communication and business skills as well as the ability to effectively work in a team.

Assessment methods:
Students are required to pass a test verifying their theoretical knowledge of this course. Practical skills acquired during the course are applied in the realization of the project - organization of a charity market Dobrotrh, where each study group represents one sales booth. Evaluation of groups and individual students takes place on the basis of the submitted final report of the project. The mandatory requirements also include camera output, where students are recorded during the presentation of the chosen topic and receive feedback from teachers and other mentors. Upon successful completion of these prerequisites, an oral examination follows, where the acquired knowledge of this course is verified on practical examples (simulation of real situations).
