Aims of the course:
The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of design and functions of road and off-road vehicles. First topic is focused on alternative fuels for internal combustion engines and pollutions. The second chapter analyses transport in relation to the environment, transport, energy efficiency ratings. Attention is also paid to the transport logistics chains. Obtained knowledge can make clear orientation in the transport systems with technical and economic evaluation.

Assessment methods:
Compulsory attendance at exercises. Hand over and defense of protocols assigned during the semester. Final written and oral examination, a total duration 50 min.Written examination, calculation of given examples. To meet the requirements min. 70 points out of 100. Overall rating, the sum of points from written and oral at least 65%.
