Aim of the course and learning outcomes:
The course focuses on practical experiences of exchange rate risk management and capital flows in international organizations. The objective is to provide knowledges about driving forces of exchange rate movements, role of the international monetary institutions and management of foreign capital flows.
 
Course content:

Fundamental and technical analysis of exchange rate (allowance 6/1)

Foreign transactions and exchange rate exposure (allowance 4/2)

Foreign exchange risk management (allowance 4/4)
5.International investments and capital flows (allowance 4/2)

International monetary policy and institutions (allowance 8/4)

Assessment methods:
The student will obtain "small credit" after 57,5% success in written tests. Final evaluation is given as the sum of the points from tests, points received for activity during the seminars, best prediction of the exchange rate and oral exam: A 100 – 81, B 80 – 71, C 70 – 61, D 60 – 51, E 50 – 41 and F 40 or less points. The student of full-time study form can register during his foreign mobilty. In that case, he can pass two tests after arrival according to the individual agreement with the lecturer.
