Aims of the course:
In this course, students will learn about principles and methods of basic technological processes of manufacturing of machine parts, technical inspection of machine parts, principles of corrosion and possiblities of protection against corrosion.

6.Physical patterns in machining (allowance 2/2)

Assessment methods:
Final credit, examination
Conditions of successful finishing the subject
Participation at seminars is obligatory. A student has to participate at all of the eight practical seminars in which measurements are demonstrated. A student has to elaborate a measurement protocol from each measurement. These protocols will be defended by the student during the semester. Two credit tests will be written during the semester. Maximally 10 points can be obtained from each test. In order to get a credit, student has to have at least 15 points in total. Credit test will be written in the 7th and 11th week of the semester.
Requirements for the exam
Credit is a presumption for applying for an exam.
The exam has two parts -- written and oral which place on the same day.
The written exam consists of a test with 5 open questions, each of which has to be answered by the student at least from 60 %. If the student passed the written test, he is admitted to the oral part of the exam. The oral exam consists of two supplementary questions. The student has to prove knowledge of at least 80 % of the information which was mentioned during the lectures and seminars.
