Aims of the course:
The aim is to familiarize students with the results of research in plant biotechnology by experts from industry and universities.
 
Course contents:
1.Biotechnology in breeding of different species of plants (allowance 8/0)
2.Plant biotechnology in agriculture (allowance 4/0)
3.Biotechnology in ornamental horticultur (allowance 4/0)
4.Plant biotechnology in pharmacy (allowance 4/0)
5.Plant biotechnology in environmental protection (allowance 4/0)
 
Learning outcomes and competences:

Assessment methods:
The course is finished and credits are obtained with participation in lectures (excused absences are tolerated), preparation to a closing discussion of topics of lectures. Success rate 60%.
