Aims of the course:
Morphology, biology and management of particular game species. Legislation and planning in game management. Care of game environment. Fulfilling food requirements of game. Game protection against harmful factors including diseases. Intensive game keeping and possibilities of population improvement. Assessing the age of game. Cynology (dog science). Firearms and ammunition, optics. Hunting. Game tracks and slots. Game preparation and evaluation. Autecology, demecology, synecology in relation to game. Environment and its effect on game. Physiological requirements of game and their fulfilment. Sense life of game. Ecological and etological requirements of game in its management. Damages caused by game and to game. Economics of game management (valuation of game, venison and trophies). The importance and organization of charged hunting, processing and appreciation of game management. Economics of hunting grounds. Economics of intensive game management. Economics of a game manager (armament, equipment, hunting rights). Game law including implementation provisions. Regionalization and classification of hunting grounds, planning. Nature and landscape protection law including implementation provisions particularly with reference to game management.
