Aims of the course:
Student gets knowledge about the history, development and current state of knowledge on the UNESCO list of world cultural and natural heritage of UNESCO. Lednice-Valtice area is a place of inspiration for generations of gardeners, his knowledge is a step towards its conservation for future generations.
Course contents:
1.The evolution of the composition of the Lednice-Valtice area (allowance 1/0)
2.Landscape editing before the year 1800 (allowance 1/0)
3.The development of the Castle Park in Lednice (allowance 1/0)
4.The development of the chateau park in Valtice (allowance 1/0)
5.The development of landscape composition near the village of Lednice (allowance 1/0)
6.The development of landscape composition in Valtice (allowance 1/0)
7.Evolution of the landscape around the editing system of ponds (allowance 1/0)
8.Implemented restoration in the area (allowance 1/0)
9.The alleys and the principles of restoration in the area (allowance 1/0)
10.Conflicts of protection of nature and cultural heritage (allowance 1/0)
11.The use of plants in the area-compositional principles (allowance 1/0)
12.The use of plants in the area (allowance 1/0)
13.Introduction of the plants into the area (allowance 1/0)

Assessment methods:
Credit-granting condition: a-
(1) knowledge of the evolution of the composition of the Lednice-Valtice area, the location of the major elements in the lion.
(2) knowledge of the significant objects in the Lednice-Valtice area and their development, rehabilitation, principles used in the history of their creation and care.

(1) oral exam in length to 20 minutes (following the successful completion of the test).
