|Aim of the course and learning outcomes:|
Thermodynamics of belongs to a group of basic theoretical disciplines on engineering disciplines. It builds and develops theoretical knowledge in the subject Physics. Also develops practical skills through laboratory measurements especially in the exercises. In all forms of instruction, students are encouraged to form self-study in preparation and defense of seminar papers, of verbally formulated conclusions (analytical, synthetic) from both - the theoretical knowledge acquired and evaluated by laboratory measurements, as the basis of future powers belonging to the acquired expertise, eligibility for acquisition of expertise and competence in the skills acquired. These approaches of education to the acquisition of learning skills are systematically applied in all areas of subject content (basic Thermodynamics of gases and reversible changes, Thermodynamics of mixtures of gases, vapors, humid air, the drying process, heat cycles, combustion and combustion thermodynamics of gases and vapor flow, thermodynamics and Thermokinetics , heat transfer).
Only on such theoretical knowledge and practical skills, can prospective graduates, after completing vocational subjects precisely meet management techniques and technologies of their studied fields of study. So then they can carry responsibility for a qualified management and development of relevant technologies.
|Learning activities and teaching methods:|
|The course will succesfully ended on the basis of the credit and examination in the topics of the course that were discussed during the semester. The credit will be given on the minimal attendance at the course seminars including at least 75 %.|
The course is ended on the basis of credit and then the exam which has two parts. The first part is the written test. To participate in the oral exam the written test have to be written at least 60 %. Then the discuss with the examiner follows about specific topics, which were discussed during the semester.
The oral exam follows the credit and written test. Students will draw the topics of the oral exam. Then the student has time to prepare. Upon the successful completion of the exam is a sign entered into the index / UIS. Final grade of the test consists of the signs of written and oral in the ratio 60:40.
