Aims of the course:
The main goal of this course is to learn step by step all basic rules and principles of creating large floristic works on practical examples required by the floral practice - from the libretto (the inspiration, idea sketch) through design activities (creating detailed plans, material specifications and budgeting) to the final implementation of the proposal (creating flower arrangement). Emphasis is placed on acquiring practical experience by working on real objects and work in a larger working groups.

b.Presentation of case study projects for next work
c.Presentation of the best projects from the past
d.Division of students into groups (teams) on selected case study projects

2.Phase of the documentation development (allowance 0/12)
a.Main motive creation and communication with the client
b.Case study libretto
c.Feasibility study
d.Project documentation for implementation

3.Phase of the budgeting (allowance 0/6)
a.Exploration of market with floristic goods
b.Material overview
c.Drawing up the budget framework

4.Phase of the implementation (allowance 0/18)
a.Making prepartion works of floral decorations parts at Faculty of Horticulture
b.Transportation into the place of realization
c.Completion of the floral decorations in the place of realization

5.Presentation of the implemented project (allowance 0/3)
a.Finalization of project documents
b.Creating of the presentation and its' demonstration

Assessment methods:
Credit is determined by 100% attendance at seminars, submitting their own project within the prescribed form (e-presentation in PowerPoint program) and completing a final colloquium where each group presents its own proposal (a brief description, faced problems, etc.).
