Aims of the course:
The course aimes on the upcomming Urban FOrestry concept in Europe nad especially in the Czech Republic.Students will get inforamtion on UF practices, management and planning, that differs from recent practices.
Course contents:
1.Urban Forestry concept in Europe and USA, History of urban forestry (allowance 4/0)
2.Tree benefits and negatives (allowance 8/0)
3.UF - Policy and planning in CZ and Europe (allowance 8/0)
4.Research and education in UF (allowance 4/0)
5.Practical Urban Forestry (allowance 0/12)
a.Management and planning of UF
b.Arboricultural practices
c.Tree assessment

Learning outcomes and competences:
Generic competences:

Specific competences:
-Ability of tree health assesment
-Evaluation of trees according to the valid and used methodologies

The credi is given for the presentation on chosen topic, the exam is given for electronic test. The evaluation scale is as follows:
100 - 90 % = A
89,9 - 80 % = B
79,9 - 70 % = C
69,9 - 60 % = D
59,9 - 50% = E
